Women's Basketball Picked t-4th in America East

The Boston University Terriers women's basketball team was selected to finish fourth in a vote among America East coaches. The tally:

1.) Vermont - 61 points (5 first place votes)
2.) Hartford - 60 points (4 first place votes)
3.) Binghamton - 45 points
t4.) Boston University - 38 pts
t4.) New Hampshire - 38 pts
6.) UMBC - 35 pts
7.) Stony Brook - 23 points
8.) Maine - 13 points
9.) Albany - 11 points

The Terriers, who went 16-0 in conference play last year and reached the America East Championship game, are without their top four players last season. Jesyka Burks-Wiley, Kristi Dini, Amarachi Umez-Eronini and Christine Kinneary, the most successful senior class in Terriers history, have all graduated. This season, BU will be relying on a solid core of Aly Hinton ('10), Kerry Cashman ('11) and Alex Young ('12).
