Know Your Enemy: The Wolverines
· The Terriers posted a 7-2 victory over the Wolverines last year when Michigan visited Agganis Oct. 25, 2008. Chris Connolly and Kevin Gilroy notched their first career collegiate goals in that game.
· The Terriers and Wolverines have faced off 21 times since first meeting in the 1950 NCAA semifinals. Michigan holds a 13-9 advantage in the series.
· BU has faced off against Michigan in the NCAA tournament more times than any other opponent; the Terriers hold a 5-4 edge in those contests.
· Michigan is coming off a 3-2 home victory over Niagara on Thursday after a season-opening split at the Kendall Hockey Classic in Anchorage. The Wolverines were blanked, 2-0, by Alaska in their first game on Oct. 10 before rebounding with a 6-1 victory over Alaska Anchorage the next night.
· Junior Matt Rust is the team’s early leader in points with four on a goal and three assists. Junior Louie Caporusso, who tallied 49 points on a team-best 24 goals and 25 assists en route to being tabbed a first-team All American, is pointless through the first three games.
· Junior Bryan Hogan has started all three games thus far in net and has posted a 1.67 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.

BU NOTES
· Senior Luke Popko is a scratch from tonight’s lineup due to illness.
· The Terriers are undefeated in the last 35 games in which junior Nick Bonino has scored at least one point.
· BU went 5-for-9 on the power play last year against Michigan
· Junior Kieran Millan lost consecutive games for the first time in his career, and has doubled his career loss total in dropping the first two games of 2009-10.
