Offensive Outburst in Orono

The Boston University women’s soccer team scored a season-high four goals to defeat the University of Maine Black Bears, 4-2, Sunday afternoon in Orono, Maine.

Quick Facts for Women’s Soccer:
-The Terriers have now won five straight games after going winless in the previous five.
-BU is now 3-0 in the conference and is the only unbeaten and untied team.
-Senior midfielder Emily Pallotta (’10), limited to just one assist through the first eight games, has 7 points (3G, 1A) in her last five games. She scored twice on Sunday.
-Sophomore midfielder Jessica Luscinski (’12) has 6 points (1G, 4A) in her last five games including a goal and an assist Sunday.
-Senior forward Taleen Dimirdjian (’10), Pallotta ('10) and Luscinski ('12) have combined for 15 points (5G, 5A) in the three America East games.
-Senior goalie Janie Reilly (’10) picked up her 23rd career victory against Maine. Reilly is now 6-3-0 on the year.
-BU won their second straight road game after going 0-4-2 during a six-game road trip in September.
-BU returns home on Thursday to face Vermont before going on the road for two games. The Terriers will close out their season with three straight home games. The Terriers are 5-0-0 at Nickerson Field.
